Single Abstract Noun recruiting bloggers
What noun, what recruiting, what bloggers? Well, Tam from Righteous Orbs had this idea: since we’re all WoW bloggers (or readers)… why don’t we actually play WoW together? Now we can, in <Single Abstract Noun>. Because of that small problem of oceans between continents and two different WoW clients, there’s actually two guilds: one on Argent Dawn-EU, made by Tam, and one on Argent Dawn-US, made by MissMedicina. The EU version already has a handful of players and it seems like they had fun last night. I could only pop by really really fast on a raid break, then I had to run just as fast when Vent started going “Jeeeen where are you?”.

My new baby is Avilion, a blood elf warlock who managed to hit level 2 (whoa) this morning before work. I wanted to roll a healer, but I’ve already have one of each class at various levels… and my other warlock was abandoned at 20, so I figured one more try can’t hurt.

I most likely won’t have time to play in the next few weeks (work crits me for 10k), but yay, sounds like fun. And I have the say the name is BRILLIANT. Especially considering my main’s guild name is also a single abstract noun… and so was my previous guild’s…

Thanks so much for the shout out – hopefully getting Single Abstract Noun out into the wider community will keep it alive. I mean, as much as I like the idea of a guild of People Who Read Tam’s Blog it’s not quite what I had in mind ;)
And hopefully see you in two weeks!

You’re welcome, and I’m jealous. I’d have prefered 2 hours of goofing off in guild chat than 2 hours wiping on Putricide, but alas… I’ll hop on sooner than 2 weeks anyway, but I’ll have a guilty conscience :P

Popped on last night and dinged 10 on a mage. Still at a stage where it doesn’t really matter how I kill things its just easy. Although with tourguide trying to get me to kill 3levels higher mobs it can be painful at times especially without BoEs.
Guild chat was a giggle. I died a couple times trying to respond to people.
Also feeling the guilt of not logging on my main and at least going on standby for the main raid.

I got my (dirty belf) lock to level 5 this morning and I’ll probably be on tonight since I don’t feel like raiding and I’ll be too braindead for job no. 2.
I wouldn’t call mage leveling easy, though :P I still have nightmares from back in the day, until someone smacked some sense into me and I respecced frost.

I don’t have much sense. I’ll be fire just because pyroblast reminds me of the old aimed shot.
I apologise in advance if I come home from London and log on half cut at around 2am ish.
