Where I’m from (i.e Cthulu guild), we get bored easily. So what happens when Cthulu gathers up some guildies, ex-guildies and friends for some old-school Molten Core raiding? The train happens.

After we downed a couple of bosses and got ourselves some imba T1, part of the raid had to go off for half an hour to finish some quest. Then one of us noticed someone else had put follow and left… So what to do with the tag-along guy? Throwing him into a crevice seemed too difficult (and dangerous for the followee), but the sight of them shuffling along after each other gave me an idea, so I put follow on the second guy. And, 5 minutes later, we had the Cthulu train choo-choo-ing through Molten Core.

We made a nice orderly line and walked around for 15 minutes or so…

Short facts on girlfriend playing WoW:

  1. Always gets lost in instances, even in the ones she’s farming for months.
  2. Gets the same items several times, forgetting she has them already: Wrynn Dynasty Greaves twice, Cookie’s Stirring Rod twice, Bloodstained Elven Battlevest twice.
  3. Swears she never saw High Astromancer Solarian before, even if she currently has Solarian’s Sapphire equipped.
  4. Is happy when seeing Hydross the Unstable, thinking she knows the fight, but afraid she’ll die as she can never tell when to jump in the water.
  5. Goes to the Gnomeregan entrance convinced she’ll find Deadmines inside.
  6. Overaggroes and dies in the first seconds of boss fight thinking she’s still on 200 DPS instead of 900, then wonders if the new gear is that good.
  7. Picks gear for the looks of it (well, for low-level alts I must admit). Also stares at her female toons’ boobies.

What does your girlfriend do?

If you love non-combat pets as much as I do, you should hurry to the closest Battleground. In order to celebrate the Beijing 2008 Olympics there is a new PvP event in-game that rewards you with a Competitor`s Tabard and a Gold Medallion. You get the tabard no matter if you win or lose, just stay in the Battleground until the end. The Gold Medallion has a 50% drop apparently. You get both items instantly by mail when you end the Battleground.

I was lucky to win the first BG I went to, which is indeed a miracle because usually on my server Alliance PUGs get pwned hard in Warsong Gluch.

The pet is so cute, I really like the level of detail, I can count his shiny scales! But I still love my Yeti… I won`t cheat on the Yeti.
